Ozlem has worked as a consultant for Oxford Policy Management, an international development consulting firm in the UK. She led projects that helped attract investments in developing countries at different market maturity stages, such as the Congo. Prior, Ozlem joined the prestigious Fellowship Scheme from the Overseas Development Institute (ODI), funded by the UK Government. As an ODI Fellow, she worked as an economic and investment policy advisor to Ethiopia and Rwanda’s Governments to help attract foreign investment through new incentives. In her spare time, Ozlem has provided pro-bono support to micro-finance organizations, such as Midland Microfin in India and Sonas in Cambodia, as well as an ed-tech start-up, AcceleratED in Ethiopia, leading their social impact assessments.
