We are excited to announce that 123 Form Builder (“123” in short), has joined our portfolio at 212. Since its founding in 2008, 123 has served tens of thousands of customers around the globe, automated processes in many industries — from healthcare to manufacturing to financials, optimized workflows in many business functions — from sales to customer service to human resources, and integrated with tens of popular software and internet tools such as Salesforce, Wix, Square, and Zendesk.

Businesses everywhere need to collect data in structured ways, from their customers, business partners, and their employees. 123 provides easy-to-use forms creation and workflow automation tools to support clients in collaboration, data collection as well as granular business processes’ automation. 123 clients include freelancers, small businesses, and enterprises who create a variety of forms, surveys, and applications to collect data and optimize internal workflows — all without writing a single line of code.

123 meets two of the most important criteria for 212’s portfolio companies: an outstanding team and a great product. In addition, 123 provides 212 with a number of “firsts”:

  • 123 is the first investment 212 makes in a Romanian company. I have personally worked with the Romanian tech community since 2006 and have a deep appreciation for the talent, passion, and energy of that community. We are excited to work with the 123 team to create more global success stories from Romania
  • 123 will be the first investment 212 makes in a “horizontal” technology play. 123 is very well positioned to become an important player in the software collaboration and communication category, and a key enabler of digital transformation, in particular in the current pandemic environment — where companies struggle to find alternative ways to operate and do business.
  • 123 will be the first company where “numbers” are prominent in the name. we just think it is very cool that 212 and 123 are coming together.

I will be joining the 123 Board along with the Founder, Florin Cornianu, and established investors and industry veterans Marius Ghenea from Catalyst Romania and Adrian Gheara. I look forward to working with them, and the rest of the 123 team, to continue the path of growth and global impact.
