Ahmet Tunga Bayrak is an AI research engineer specializing in audio transformers, speech synthesis, and conversational intelligence. Before founding Freya, he built a conversational math tutor used by 10,000+ students and authored transformer-focused deep learning courses for freeCodeCamp, reaching 50,000+ learners globally. A University of Pennsylvania graduate and former Engineering TA, he now leads Freya’s technical vision, designing scalable, compliant, and human-like Voice AI for regulated industries.

Tomas Nepala is a Wharton alumnus with deep experience in financial services, enterprise operations, and customer workflows. At Gallagher, the world’s second-largest insurance broker, he gained firsthand insight into regulatory complexity, compliance, and high-stakes customer operations. Before co-founding Freya, he worked across operations, client engagement, and process automation, identifying key efficiency and scalability gaps. At Freya, Tomas leads vision, operations, and go-to-market strategy, driving enterprise partnerships and ensuring the platform is compliant, scalable, and built for regulated industries.
