Mehmet is an operator who has been on both sides of the table. He started in angel investing early, writing his first check at age 25 while managing an 80+ member angel investment network and evaluating over 2,000 startups. He then joined Techstars Berlin as part of the accelerator team, working closely with founders across 6 countries. As an entrepreneur, he built and scaled Europe’s largest lab grown diamond factory, raising over $25M and completing a private equity transition in 2025. To date he has backed 20+ companies with 4 exits. Based in the Netherlands, founder first is at the core of everything he does.
