Over the past ten years, Can founded two startups and raised more than $2M. Both startups were acquired by different enterprise companies. His first startup, FlightRecorder was acquired by the Israeli company ClickTale in 2015.

After a few years, he co-founded (was CTO) TeamSQL, and they built a product that is a web-based Amazon Redshift client with visual analysis and collaboration features for data analysts and data scientists. TeamSQL was acquired by Amazon in 2020. Currently, he is working at Amazon as a Software Development Manager in the UK.
