Ebru Elmas Gürses serves as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at 212, bringing extensive expertise in financial leadership and mergers and acquisitions. Her career journey is marked by a diverse range of roles across prominent organizations, demonstrating a profound understanding of both startup dynamics and corporate environments.

Ebru began her professional journey at KPMG Istanbul, initially in the audit department and later in the Transaction Services division across KPMG’s Istanbul and London offices. Later, her tenure at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) further honed her skills in managing complex financial landscapes, focusing on financial due diligence.

As Managing Partner at BIC Angels and then Fongogo Crowdfunding platform, Ebru spearheaded investment strategies, evaluating numerous startup ventures and overseeing critical phases from pre-investment analysis to post-investment management. Her strategic insights were instrumental in achieving a successful exit from Fongogo.

Continuing her career, Ebru held key roles as CFO at İninal Elektronik Para and Bitexen Teknoloji, leading financial technology companies in the digital finance sector.

Ebru holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from Istanbul University.
